Teignmouth is home to a wonderful range of events which are held all year round, so whenever you join us, be it spring, summer, autumn or winter, we’re sure you’ll find the perfect event to complete any visit.
Be sure to visit the Teignmouth Pavillions who host a range of childrens, music, comedy and film events all year - you are bound to find something that takes your fancy.
If you’re a foodie check out Teignmouth Farmers Market, held the last Saturday of each month this event gives you the chance to try fresh locally grown and produced fruit, veg and produce sold by the farmers and local makers.
Throughout the year there are a number of amazing annual events which are held in Teignmouth and across the river in Shaldon.
There are great music events like the Teignmouth Folk Festival and Jazz Festival, when the town comes alive with music. And the week long Carnival week with events and celebrations taking place throughout the town.
Being a coastal town means the sea is a big part of life in Teignmouth and there are some great fun water based events which make the most of the towns wonderful location.
Teignmouth and Shaldon both hold annual regatta’s where both land and water based activities are in abundance. Shaldon also hold a yearly Water Carnival, where the carnival procession takes place on the river instead of the roads.
Every year in September the town celebrates its unique local produce with the Taste of the Teign Festival - a week long event with local restaurants and cafes featuring special menus, demonstrations by producers and a host of other events across the town.
