Comedy in Tavistock is back. Again! After March's successful show, Plymouth based promoters "A Press of Suspects {presents}'' are returning to bring their unique brand of comedy night to good ol' Tavy! Taking place in the unusual setting of the old Courtroom at the reopened World Heritige Guildhall on the 13th May. This night promises to be a bundle of laughs with a great varied line up with four fantastic comics. Tickets either £10/14, pay what you can afford - you'd be a fool to miss out . All hosted by the anarchic, owl obsessed Willtordian Ballorian Edwardian.

David Arnold: A Welsh man by birth but Plymouth based for 10 years (married a Janner), David is a regular on the comedy circuit, mixing mainstream and alternative material with aplomb! A warm and engaging presence, David has recently won through to the finals of British Comedian of the year! An absolute treat of a man. www.welshdavecomedy.com

Jasmine Morton: Jasmine unapologetically uses comedy as her platform for free therapy, bringing her anecdotal stories to life through stand up. A regular on the Bristol Circuit. Comedian famous for The Mash Report and Taskmaster once said in passing that she's "funny". Other comedian famous for "Live at the Apollo'' once said she's "fit". Do with that what you will.

Pravanya Pillay: A staple of the Bristol circuit and runs her own night at the infamous Cube Cinema. For a performance like marmite (yeasty) that leaves you wondering: "did I hate that?". Pravanya Pillay's surreal, absurdist humour is always silly, always fun and always a bit pointless. Critics say "well she's having a good time" and "wow, that's a lot of energy". Fans say "she is a RIOT, fantastic fun and glorious energy"

Mark Dennett: Mark Dennett's wife takes full responsibility for his comedy career. If she hadn't kicked him out of the house one night after telling him to get a hobby, then he would never have gone to his local comedy club and asked for his first open spot. Since that night, Mark has driven the length and breadth of the country performing anywhere he can and honing his craft. Mark draws on a lifetime of often bizarre (yet relatable) incidents to mind for joke based comedy gold. He is still very happily married and is glad that he chose comedy over golf.

Tickets are £10 or £14 – you decide, the more you pay the more the comics get.

In a time where we are all looking for a little escape, this show is a great way to have a giggle and actually meet up with friends in real life.
