Come join South Devon AONB and learn about the marine habitats of Salcombe!
Take advantage of one of the lowest tides of the year and join the AONB Estuaries Officer to take a closer look at some of the seagrass right on Salcombe's doorstep. Discover how these flowering plants support a jungle of marine life and why they and some of our other estuarine ecosystems are so important to our net zero carbon future.

- Not suitable for toddlers - site accessed by boats
KNOW BEFORE YOOU GO
- DOGS: Well behaved dogs on leads and under close control are permitted. Bring poo bags and be aware of sharp objects on the shore.
- MOBILITY: Sorry, no wheelchair access. Uneven, muddy and stony foreshore. Slippery in places and crossing seaweed covered rocks. Shoreline can feel exposed.
WHAT TO BRING
- Please dress appropriately for the weather forecast. Wear wellies or boots. Bring hand sanitizer if bringing snacks/lunch. Bring Water.

- Use Shadycombe car park (as Whitestrand car park is short stay).
