East Prawle, Devon's most southerly village, goes back in time hosting a traditional fair including rides, delicious refreshments, stalls and live music.
From 2pm the fair kicks off with the traditional "Raising of the Glove" ceremony, which according to legend signifies free trade and clemency during the fair.
Enjoy Swingboats, Maypole Dancing, Coconut Shie, Darts, Skittles, Test your Strength, Tombola and much more!
Take part in one of the fun competitions. For children there is a Fancy Dress competition at 2.15pm, or see how your Knobbly Knees or 'Andsome Ankles measure up to the opposition!
Enjoy a range of refreshments and treats including Cream Tea in the Marquee, BBQ, Candy Floss, Pizza and Pimms Tent.
Last but not least, there is live music on the green during the day and in the Pigs Nose in the evening (be sure to purchase a ticket for the evening, as this event is always popular and there is restricted numbers)
