Join us for a jampacked photography course at Dartmoor Zoo that you won't forget! Hosted by the talented brsimages.
Brian and Sheree Sedgbeer of brsimages live on Dartmoor, a husband-and-wife team of professional photographers who have a deep knowledge and love of wildlife having travelled across the world, capturing gorgeous images that can be explored via their website.
Whether you're a beginner looking to learn everything from square 1, or you're a talented photographer looking to finetune or improve your existing skills, regularly hosting technical and composition lessons, Brian and Sheree will make sure you get some shots you're truly proud of!
Example Itinerary:
Arrival: 9am (Jaguar Suite)
Introduction
Welcome tea/coffee
Place lunch orders
Insight to technical side of cameras
What to expect for the day
Keeper time: 9:30 – 11am
Keeper yard for carnivore round
Photographing around site: 11am – 1pm
Lunch break: 1 – 2pm
Jaguar Restaurant
Photographing around site: 2 – 3pm
Big cat talk at 2:30 – may include feed – big cat will be disclosed on the day
Recap and advice: 3 – 4pm
Jaguar Suite
With the largest big cat collection in the Southwest and over 300 animals, plus exclusive Keeper time during their carnivore rounds, there will be plenty of action shots to test your skills throughout the day!
Please note: a minimum of 5 spaces are required to be booked for the course to take place, if we do not reach these numbers, you will be contacted in advance to look at other, suitable dates to move your experience to.

This course is open to individuals ages 16 years and over.
Wet weather conditions may result in rescheduling of course dates.
Attendees must bring their own photographic equipment and have a basic knowledge of its operation.
Attendees are advised to bring protection for their camera in case of a rain shower.
Dartmoor Zoo can accept no liability for loss or damage of personal belongings including camera equipment whilst on site.
Zoo admission, tea/coffee and lunch is included.
Attendees are advised to wear walking boots or other appropriate outdoor footwear.
If the minimum requirement of 5 people is not met, alternative dates will be provided.
