Create a Treasured Keepsake
Step into the captivating world of glassmaking with our Glass Bird Workshop. In just 30 minutes, you'll transform molten glass into a beautiful, hand-sculpted bird. Choose from delightful designs like the Robin, Wren or Blue Tit. This hands-on session is perfect for beginners – no prior experience needed! Guided one-on-one by our expert glassmakers, you'll create a keepsake that's sure to delight.

This workshop is your ideal introduction to the art of hot glass sculpting. Starting with clear glass, you'll master the fundamentals of shaping and working with molten glass. With growing confidence, you'll add your unique touch to craft a vibrant and colourful bird. By the end of your session, you'll have two creations: a clear glass bird to showcase your technique and a colourful masterpiece to highlight your new skills.

To reach House of Marbles from the A38 at Drumbridges roundabout, whether you're coming from Exeter or Plymouth, take the exit for the A382 towards Bovey Tracey. Follow the signs to Bovey Tracey, and House of Marbles will be on your left as you approach the town. The drive from the roundabout should take around 5 minutes, and be sure to look out for the brown tourist signs with our name on them.
