We are hosting our annual Festive Market, running from 4pm to 7pm on Thursday 7th December 2023 at the Tavistock Place campus (PL4 8AT).
There will be over 40 traders at the event, including staff, students and alumni from Arts University Plymouth, as well as local businesses. Stall holders will be selling everything from glass to textiles, zines to ceramics, and of course lots of Christmas cards, ornaments, and ideal gifts for the festive season. Alongside some amazing traders, we'll also have a tombola and festive bar to help raise money for the Student Union Food Bank.
The event will be free entry and is open to members of the public as well as members of the Arts University Plymouth community. Please spread the word and come along if you are able to, we hope to see you there!
Free admission.

If you are travelling via car and using a satnav, the postcode PL4 8BA will lead you to Regent Street Public Car Park, just next door to our Tavistock Place campus. Alternatively, parking is available at the Drake Circus Shopping Centre just across the road, or the Barcode just off Bretonside. There is also a limited amount of on-street parking on Regent Street.
We have limited parking for disabled access only at Tavistock Place. For more information about parking, visit the Plymouth City Council website at plymouth.gov.uk/parking, or plymouth.gov.uk/parkandride.

Known as Britain's Ocean City and the gateway to the South West, Plymouth is well connected. Our campuses are located in the heart of Plymouth's 'Cultural Quarter' and can be easily accessed regardless of where you're arriving from.
The university is within walking distance of the coach station on Mayflower Street. National Express services run to London Victoria via Exeter and lots of other UK destinations, and for super-cheap deals try booking with Megabus or Falcon via Stagecoach.
We're just five minutes away from Plymouth train station, where direct services depart to London Paddington (taking 3-3 ½ hours), Bristol, the Midlands, the North of England, Scotland and Penzance. There is even a sleeper train to and from Paddington if you want to leave London late and arrive in Plymouth early.
We are served by a main Great Western Railway link from London Paddington and by Cross Country Trains north to the Midlands and Scotland. There are frequent services from Newton Abbot, Torbay, North Cornwall and North Devon.
The closest airports are Exeter International (less than an hour away), Newquay and Bristol, with direct coach services also connecting Plymouth with Heathrow and Gatwick airports in London. Plymouth is well connected to Roscoff, France, and Santandar, Spain, by regular car and foot passenger ferry services: the university is just over a mile away from the ferry port.
