Field System Gallery and Shop are pleased to announce the opening of 'Artefacts from my Friday Walk', the first gallery show from the artist known as Man in the Woods. The exhibition of drawing, printing, stitching and woodworking, draws upon observations gathered during his 5 year long continued journey around weird Britain. His lone ramblings, with huge followings on Instagram and TikTok, are a fertile hunting ground for inspiration that will take shape in the gallery as records, relics and way-finders.
The Show opens at 6pm on Thursday 20th June (Summer Solstice ) and we are delighted to announce that, as well as offering very locally brewed The Devil's Pleasure ale, we will also have have joyful solstice music from Goblin Bands's Rowan Gatherer and Gwena Harman
The exhibition is open 20th June - 6th July. The Field System Gallery and Shop, which stocks folklore inspired gifts, prints, ceramics and jewellery, is open Tuesday-Saturday 11am-5.30pm or at other times by appointment.
