Treat yourself to award winning dining at the Margaret Amelia restaurant at the Thurlestone Hotel.
Using only the best of local Devon produce, you can enjoy quality fine dining whilst over looking Thurlestone Bay. The dinner menu, open to non-residents, offers the option of one, two or three course selections from the full Table d’hote menu.
Traditional Sunday lunch is served in the Margaret Amelia Restaurant and is a very popular with guests and non-residents and so booking is advised to avoid disappointment.
Margaret Amelia Grose was the first member of the family to offer hospitality to guests in the village and the Restaurant is named after her. The hotel continues to honour her legacy with its award winning menus and choice of dining options. Thurlestone Hotel Chairman David Grose personally selects its expertly considered wine list, featuring wines from individual vineyards across the world.
Family dining is enjoyed by many who wish their children to dine with them in the main restaurant and during school holiday periods the restaurant opens from 6.30pm with a limited children’s menu, available until 7.30pm at no additional charge, alongside the full dinner menu. Children are welcome to dine after 7.30pm but only the full dinner menu will be available.
Please note Gentlemen are requested to wear a jacket for dinner in the Margaret Amelia restaurant.
