1741 reviewsWelcome to Dartmoor Zoo, a zoo with a story and many big hearts. Situated in Devon’s stunning Dartmoor National Park yet just 15 minutes from Plymouth, Dartmoor Zoo is the loving home to a variety of incredible animals including the majestic African lion, Amur tigers, lynx, capybaras, meerkats and many, many more.
Groups can participate in the zoo's interactive and educational workshops designed to engage visitors of all ages, making it a perfect outing for schools, families, and friends.
There are 40 areas to discover on the Dartmoor Zoo map including the Iberian wolf enclosure and the monkeys and agouti too. There are plenty of opportunities to relax and recharge with coffee stands and the Jaguar restaurant. And don’t forget to find a memento of your trip in the zoo’s shop before you leave, whether you want a plush parrot to remember the bird aviary or a cheeky meerkat!
And don’t miss the zoo’s daily animal talk where you can learn more about that day’s animal in more detail, and ask your own questions too! Whether you're an animal enthusiast, a budding biologist, or just someone looking for a unique day out in a scenic setting, Dartmoor Zoo promises an unforgettable adventure for groups of all sizes.
