Goat week at Pennywell Farm!

It's the goat-to event of the year as Pennywell showcases our many goats and some of the format may seem somewhat familiar.

Sponsored by Goat Compare, Gruffts 2019 promises to be the worlds greatest goat show and visitors to the farm will be delivering the final verdict on which goat wins the coveted, ‘Best in Show’.

The goats will go through several rounds including agility and disobedience as well as being judged on their all-round condition and looks.

Pennywell's Chris Murray says, “Our visitors love goats and our goats thrive on human contact and interaction, hence we came up with the idea of a goat show, Gruffts.

Goats are surprisingly intelligent, inquisitive animals and are already enjoying their preparations for the show”.

Gruffts 2019 will be taking place from 19th to 27th October with a whole host of other goat themed activities, plus all Pennywell's famous half hourly activities, shows, rides and displays.

Bringing their own unique styles of music, magic and all round entertainment to our Big Shows are Mr Phil, Poco Drom and gentleman juggler, Matt Pang.  Join them in the theatre at 1pm and 3pm.
