Bellever
The Bellever audio walk is a 6 mile (10km) circular walk starting from Postbridge Information Centre and gives a mixture of woodland, moorland and riverside walking, intersperced with several archaeological sites.
The River Teign is an impressive 31 miles long and winds its way down from Dartmoor to the sea at Teignmouth in a backwards S.
As one of South Devon’s main rivers it has played an important part in the areas development.

Tiverton
In its heyday (1500-1750), Tiverton was famous for the manufacture of woollen cloth. Thousands found work and merchants grew rich. The Merchants Trail can be followed around the town of today.
Exeter
Distance: 8 miles
Difficulty: Easy
Start/End point: Exeter/Starcross
This walk starts on the Quay at Exeter and ends at Starcross, on the western bank of the estuary. From here, bus or train can be taken back to Exeter.
3 West Street, Okehampton

Kingsbridge
Start Point is the most southerly tip of Devon, with stunning coastal scenery across Start Bay and lots of wildlife to spot, including seabirds and the odd seal.
Okehampton
The Two Castles Trail is a 24 mile waymarked walking route between Okehampton and Launceston Castles. Starting on the western side of Devon and finishing just inside Cornwall, the walk meanders through rolling countryside full of history.
Tavistock to Plymouth
The Trail takes its name from numerous connections with the famous Elizabethan seafarer Sir Francis Drake and forms part of (NCN) Route 27, the ‘Devon Coast to Coast’.
Exeter
The Exe Valley is a long distance route for walkers exploring the length of this beautiful river valley.
Newton Abbot
Decoy Country Park provides an opportunity to enjoy exciting wildlife and beautiful countryside. Decoy was once a clay quarry but now supports a wealth of wildlife, with the main habitats found here.
